I really like how this one turned out, the background paper reminds me of Cat Eyes!!! Hope you like it, and please leave comments on my cards if you would like to. I really appreciate your input-comments, and or questions. :)
Cards Cakes and Paper Crafts from the North
I love paper crafting, card making, scrapping and the Cricut site. The things I have here on my blog are mainly things I made with my Cricut or my Expression {big Cricut}. It's so fun and keeps me busy. Check things out and please leave a comment or two and let me know what you think. I also love making cakes of all kinds and am sharing some pictures as well. Thanks for stopping by and please tell me what you think.

Bee Happy
I wanted to use my new Honeycomb embossing folder so I decided to use my Bee Happy stamp to match. I used some brown craft paper, embossed it with the honeycomb embossing folder, inked it a bit with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink.
Embossed a small strip of yellow cardstock with the honeycomb strip emboss folder & inked it with mustard seed yellow distress ink.
Stamped a square with the Bee Happy stamp & inked the edges, under that you'll see a stripped ribbon which is by Stampin Up & the color is called Daffodil Delight & for some reason it looks greenish in color, as does the square that is attached just above the ribbon.
They are both very yellow.
Funny how the camera can play tricks on us.

Another Everyday Card
This was an easy one to make, I love the easy cards. All I did was emboss half the card & then add some cardstock to the other half. Added a matching flower & ribbon & it was finished.
I really like this Cuttlebug embossing folder, it's came in a pack of four folders called-Decorative Tile Set.

Purse & A Card
These don't necessarily match but took a pic. of them both at the same time.
I cut the purse with my Cricut Expression using the Tags Bags Boxes & More cartridge & I also used the Expression to cut the card. I added ribbon & a silk flower & a couple brads. I love having a fair amount of cards on hand for when the occasion arrises that I need one.

Simple Flower Card
I made this fun simple card in just minutes...I embossed some white cardstock with a Cuttlebug folder called Traffic Jam. Then added it to my card base which is 5x5".
Then added a chevron zig zag in green, a prima flower & a brad in the center. So quick, fun
& easy.

Black background-Bright Colors
First I cut a black piece of cardstock just a bit smaller than 5x7" to fit my card base & I embossed it with a cuttlebug folder.......
I cut the circle & flower & branch with my Expression/Cricut machine. I made a green & lavender layer with paper & then added some bright orange prima flowers. Added some pretty yellow brads to the centers.
I then added a couple chevron strips that I had in my stash & a cockatoo bird up top & viola, I was done.

Wreath Card
Here's a card I made using the Martha Stewart branch punch for the wreath. I actually did more to this card after taking the photo, I used stickles all over the wreath & it's stunning if I must say. I also used some StampinUp polka dot scalloped Cherry Cobbler ribbon. Again I used the Co'ordinations glitter cardstock.
Candy Cane Card
Another fun card to make, Christmas cards are my all time favorite. I cut the candy canes from the Christmas Cheer cartridge {i think} then added some StampinUp ribbon, and the ribbon across the bottom is actually a Martha Stewart punch which I adore. :) The cardstock is a glitter paper from Co'ordinations. I also used cuttlebug using the candy cane folder...
I then cut the little scallop oval & stamped it with Noel & Viola....

Jingle All the Way
I use the Giant Snowflake cuttlebug folder for the background & used the Cricut cart. called Plantin Schoolbook for the black cityscape at the bottom. I used the Christmas Noel cartridge for the santa & sleigh.
Christmas Tree card
I made the tree using my Martha Stewart branch punch {love that punch} then I used stickles & liquid pearls on the branches. Added a few brads & twill ribbon. Stamped Merry Christmas across the top & used a cuttlebug folder called Geometric rings for the background.

Poinsettia Card
I thought I better get started on a few Christmas cards. I've never made a poinsettia card before & thought it would be fun to make. Another Cricut cut, This was all cut from the Flower Shoppe cartridge.
Live Love & Laugh Card
I did this one for a challenge on a site I frequent. I got a lil messy with my glue on here, guess it goes with the territory at times.
White on White Card
Just a fun card to make, I love the white on white cards. I added a bit of bakers twine & used my cuttlebug to emboss, also used my Martha Stewart punch for the borders.
Dream Card
I made this card with my Best of 2010 Cricut cartridge. Was a fun one to put together. Leave a comment please. Thanks

Onesie Baby Card
This is a cute onesie card I made using a cut from the Cricut Craft Room. I added a rolled flower & some Happy Days Twine. The heart & rectangle with the word Cherish are from a Heidi Swapp set that I've had for a veryyy longg time. Then added some stickles to both sleeves. I also added 3 silver brads down at the bottom crotch area of the onsie where the snaps would be on a real onesie. Enjoy
Flip Flop Card
This is a fun Birthday Card I made with the flip flop cut from Best Images of 2010 Cricut cart. I love this cart. :) I hand rolled the flowers & added some bling to the centers. Then used my Martha Stewart punch to add some greenery. Hope you enjoy.

4x4 Upcycled Mini Album
I made a cute little 4x4 photo album. I used the square coasters I have collected from some restaurants I've been to. Ten photos can be added to this little album. I used various papers from my stash & added a couple flowers & brads. I used ribbon on the binding to keep it sturdy. Inked all the edges with Tim Holtz ranger Distress ink. I used one Cricut cut {on the corner} from Home Accents. Was fun & easy to put together. Enjoy...Thanks for stopping by....

Happy Easter #2

Another Easter Card....I again used my Cricut, cuttlebug & Fiskars border punch for this card a Studio G stamp {for the lil bird} & a few embellies. I haven't made any cards or done any scrapbooking in a while, but am slowly but surely getting back into it. The Happy Easter sentiment was computer generated.
