Today I have a card in a box for you. I use a lot of glitter card stock & a few pearls & a bit of bling. Thanks for stopping by.
I use the Cricut Maker machine for all the crafts I make. I love paper crafting, card making, leather projects, iron on vinyl and Cricut products. What I have on my blog are mainly things I made with my Cricut Expression until March 2014 that is when I bought the Cricut Explore. It is so fun and keeps me busy. I now am a proud owner of the Cricut Maker machine. So many possibilities. Check things out and leave a comment and let me know what you think. Some affiliate links on this blog.

I made this card for the My Cricut Craft Room design team. The theme is {Happy}. I thought these mice looked quite happy & the title comes from the song, Because I'm Happy. Inside the card says "Clap along if you know what Happiness is to You". I used my Cricut Explore to cut the mice from the Disney Happily Ever After cart. & printed the title with the Explore as well.

Halloween Blog Hop
Thank you for joining us on My Cricut Craft Room's Halloween Blog Hop
Today I made a halloween card to share. I used a couple different cricut cartridges for my images, for the hat I used Best Images of 2010, for the caldron I used Paper Doll Dress Up. Also used a svg file from Miss Kate's Cuttables for the witch's legs & boots. I added orange stickles to her socks & some platinum liquid pearls to the bubbling caldron. The two little ghosts are eyelets that I've had in my stash for a very long time. This is a 5x7" card. I have a few more halloween projects for you to peek at below.
This house was so fun to make! It's an image from Sweet Tooth Boxes Cricut cartridge & I cut it all with my Explore machine. A couple images are from different carts. like the crow up top is from the October 31st cartridge as well as the pumpkins & pumpkin patch sign.
The top opens up so candy or cupcakes can be added in to the house. This will be filled with goodies come October 31st....

Pumpkin & Witch's Hat
This project was so fun. The hat comes off & you can add goodies inside. The file was from svgcut.com & I love their svg files, they cut so nice. This will be cute with a flameless tea light inside. This guy stands over 8" high.
These pic's show how I finished it off, the hat has a couple leafy vines that i added some ink to, with some bling on the eyes. I love this pumpkin with the witch's hat.

I embossed the leaves with my cuttlebug & swiss dots folder. I used red ripple holographic card stock & gold shimmery card stock. Very simple card to make. Thanks for stopping by.

Rosette Tutorial for Design Space
First I found the rosette I liked on Anna Griffins Summer Soiree cartridge & put it on the canvas in design space. You will need 4 panel for this rosette, so I sized the one panel & duplicated it 3 times.. This one is the Pool rosette. I cut these particular panels at 4.68" wide x 2.10" in height. Make sure you have your score tool inserted in your Explore. :)
The folding is easy, find the score lines & do an accordion fold. Over, under, over, under, once you start folding it goes quick.
This is when I start adding glue. I use Aileen's Turbo Tacky Glue-Works as good as hot glue in my book.
I use little paper clips, but it's not necessary. I use them because I have them. If you want to I am sure clothes pins would work fine. I've made them without clipping them & they stay together fine.
Here are the 4 panels glued together.
Now I lay the 4 panels down & start to form a circle so I can then glue the last two ends together. This is probably the hardest part & it's not really hard at all. :)
Here it is standing on end.All ends glued together. Next I need to lay it flat to adhere a circle or scallop or whatever shape you want for the middle, this gives it some stability to hold the rosette in a circle.
Now this might look goofy, but it's the way I do it. I have to set something with a bit of weight to it to hold this rosette down, otherwise I will never finish & get the middle circle glued on. Don't laugh. I have arthritis in my hands & most all joints so this is what works for me.
The final rosette, I cut the center circle at 1.5"
I cut this one with double sided cardstock so I have two sides to my rosette. I loved doing double sided paper for these. This cardstock is from a DCVW stack. I hope my tutorial was easy to follow. I have to admit it's the first one I've ever done. Please show me what you make....Have fun & I have to warn you, they are addicting.

This is another file Narelle shared with me, I love her files. So clean & easy to cut. This one is a tissue box cover for the tall square box of kleenex...All I added was the flower I made a while back. Very fun to play with & add your personal touch to. Please let me know what you think by leaving a comment.
